Lovely garden, I go to do my daily stretches there when I can. Unfortunately it’s not opened to the public on weekends because of the private events . Serene environment to relax, photo shoots and just bask in the sun on a hammock. Ps bring your hammock 😂 …

Unfortunately the place was closed for renovations. It didn't state that online. We also didn't really know when we arrived if it was open or closed. It would have been nice if they could also provide a little translation to English just to help a little, as it isn't too close to the centre of Grenoble and for most people that means it takes at least half a day round trip just to go there and then realize it was closed.

I did not visit the castle because it was closed. From the outside, it seems like a modest castle with massive doors. The garden at the back has a scenic view, and cold water streams straight from the mountains. The gates at the back are closed, so it is impossible to cut the way to the Rte du Vercors.

I love the fountain at sassenage because of the nature of its flow and the place has beautiful background. It's also good for hiking and camping as well. We spent the whole day there during the visit.
